If you are a cultural, arts or heritage provider who needs volunteers then we can help.

Cultural Connections Volunteering is a project funded by Spirit of 2012 (part of the legacy of the London Olympics). It aims to increase volunteering in the cultural, arts and heritage sector.

We'll be recruiting at least 500 first time volunteers over the next 2 years.

Support

Our Volunteer Project Officer will work closely with you to understand your needs when it comes to volunteers, and can even help you design quality volunteer opportunities.

Our Volunteer Co-ordinators will be there to support volunteers as they start and continue to work with you.

Accessibility grants

We have a small fund to help our volunteers overcome any barriers they might have to volunteering - anything from travel to reasonable adjustments to the workplace.

Activation grants

Our activation grants of up to £500 will help small groups of volunteers and small organisations to:

• put on their own hyperlocal events
• inspire attendees to commit to further community action and volunteering
• celebrate local culture
